Address & Birthday Book + Pen / Hand Covered Fabric Book / Strawberry Thief Design

These luxuriously illustrated address and birthday books are hand covered in the iconic, elegant Strawberry Thief design fabric. This is a lawn fabric - with a very fine weave, which feels almost silk-like.

The Strawberry Thief was originally designed by Morris & Co during the early 1880’s, inspired by watching the thrushes stealing fruit in his kitchen garden.

This particular colourway is very close to his original design, which was created using all natural dyes and the indigo-discharge printing technique, hence the muted, earthy tones.

Also available is a beautifully patterned, coordinating metal pen.
These quality, glossy pens feature a gold nib and clip and write with black ink.

The inside is further illustrated with a coordinating design in subtle blue-green hues.

The address book is indexed per pair of letters and has space for 24 contacts under each section. Layout is provided for; name, address, email, home and mobile numbers.

The Birthday book section is indexed by month, with 4 full lines to add loved ones special dates. Each month ends with a coordinating decal design, in keeping with the rest of this delightful book.

Pen loop is added if book is purchased with pen.
Pens take any standard refill.

Please note, that while the books themselves are not handmade - the padding, fabric binding & finishing is all done individually & lovingly by hand.

As these are all individually covered, please be aware that the image placement will vary on each book.

Each book arrives ready to gift - as shown in the first photo - and wrapped in lilac tissue.
