Squirrel Pin Cushion / Hand Sewn Pincushion
Handmade felt squirrel pincushions.
These gorgeous little guys - affectionately known as Sandy, Rusty & Nutkin - are lovingly hand sewn.
Individually cut from heathered merino wool felt - which is what gives them their wonderful variegated texture, they are embroidered using gold metallic entwined thread, decorated with rustic wooden buttons & firmly fixed to a treated & glazed real wood log slice.
They are filled with pearl barley, to weight them & polyester stuffing, to enable them to be used as pincushions.
Each pincushion is firmly fixed to a rustic bamboo pin dish - enabling you to store pins, buttons and thread as you sew! These are a new addition to the design and are not necessarily shown in the listing. Photos will be updated as each new pincushion is ordered and made.
